Welcome to Dungeon Siege Gear. This is a fan run site. I don't charge for anything. I do offer advice on how to use the products
that I offer. And I thank many of the various people who inspired me.
Until this time I have seen a lot of sites with cheats, item prefixes and suffixes and walkthroughs. I have the cheats for
single player, a lot of prefixes and suffixes for both single- and multiplayer, and (most importantly) a number of items to
get you to special places in multiplayer, plus a couple of good links (unnofficial sponsors that need credit)-listed
below.
But
my real offer is a well wanted Dungeon Siege gem...The Utraean Circle and the Chicken Level. Once hard to get to, now they
are there when you want them.
Thanks much,
Thura

Downloading and editing: You are going to want a file where you will keep the tank veiwer and tank editor. You want everything
in the zipped folders all in one file folder. ALL DOCUMENTS or it doesn't work. Then you'll want to do the following for convience
of use:
- Create a back up folder for your save files. Whenever you want to edit them, copy the file before hand
and paste it into your back up file.
- Create a character file where you will extract files to, from the tank viewer program
- When extracting files, be sure to extract all files (three in multiplayer, more in single player).
- When you extract the files to your character folder, you may want to let it overwrite old information, or create subfolders
for specific characters, or character levels. I do the former because I only have one character.
- be sure not to fiddle with what you don't understand. It may kill your character.
- Once you are finished editing your character in notepad, save and close the document. Open the Tank Creator and click
the browse button (looks like an elipses) on the part labled source. browse until you get to the character
folder you want and click okay.
- Once you have found your source, go to the output button. This opens your Dungeon Siege saved game file.
It starts out with an incorrect file type, blah.dsres. The .dsres cannot be read by Dungeon
Siege. Scroll down to all files. Now you should see your saves. click on your save file. It should have your
character's name, attached to .dsparty
- Don't use the .dspartybak file, but do copy it and the .dsparty file when making back
up copies.
- When opening the files with the tank viewer open the .dsparty file.
Enjoy the site!

A couple of things to keep in mind when using the Dungeon Siege Tank Viewer and Tank Creator.
1. always keep a backup of both the original .dsparty and .dsparty back files. Literally copy the files to somewhere
safe every time you edit in case your work messes up the file.
2. Do not mess with anything other than I tell you to or you will mess your files up. This is a major warning. I have
lost characters and magic items because of tampering. There are special cases that I generally don't encourage you to try
but that have little or no affect.
